What to include in a request
Four things help us answer your request without a follow-up. The property address matters most, because it decides the soil, the road authority and the building desk all at once.
Second, tell us what actually needs to happen — a pad for a shop, a drain that has stopped working, a driveway a concrete truck cannot use. You do not need construction terminology.
The third is whether anything is already drawn or approved: a survey, a site plan, a building permit number, an engineer's drawing. If you already have paperwork, it usually shortens the whole process for us.
The fourth is timing, including any date that is already fixed. A BC 1 Call locate needs about a week of lead time, and an Agricultural Land Commission Notice of Intent needs 60 days. A fixed date changes the sequence we work in, not the price.
